Something in the water?

Item No. 1 – the Fort Lupton assistant C-team coach (who also is the police chief in Fort Lupton) resigns after an altercation on the sideline during Friday's game between the Bluedevils and Berthoud. The coach was on his own time and not serving as police chief at the time.
Item No. 2 – A Frederick parent applauds a Warriors' player who was kicked out of Friday night's league loss to Windsor.
How about some thoughts?

just because he was acting on his own behalf does that make it okay? So when is it okay for an adult to assault a 17 year old kid during a football game?

I missed something here, were in Steve's blog does it say his actions were o.k.? He just stated the facts and left it open for comment. I think we all need to hone are reading skills before we become hyper critical

I was at the game, sitting directly above where the incident took place. THERE WAS NO ASSUALT. The player mouthed off to the coach. The player was pushed by the coach. The coach resigned, end of story. If he is charged with assualt I guess we need to charge all the football players because the contact on the field was much worse than the contact on the sideline.
