Interesting to see that two offspring of rather famous athletes opted not to continue playing their respective sports in college.
Jack Elway won't be playing football, and Michael Jordan's son, Jeff, said "no" to playing basketball.
Perhaps someone in their families made sports a bit too serious?

Or Steve perhaps there was too much pressure from the press and the outside world to live up to a impossible standard. I just hope that both young men get a great education and a future in there chosen field of study, without the microscope on top of them.
Can't speak to the coverage of young Mr. Jordan. The press here was pretty tame when it dealt with Elway's son, in large part because the big press doesn't deal with preps very much.
